I finally tried my hand at homemade pesto sauce tonight. Dad and I tested it out by tossing it into a pound of cooked fettucine noodles cooked al dente.
I contemplated making it with chicken or adding some alfredo sauce to the dish, but I’ll save that for another meal. I used approximately 1/4 cup of sauce, though the recipe for the pesto sauce suggests using the whole thing. (I’m saving the bulk of the sauce for pizza another night.)
