Buffalo wings have been one of my favorite appetizers for a long time now. When I lived in Huntington Beach, Calif., often times my boyfriend (at the time) and I would make a meal of wings served at the wing bar of our local Albertson’s grocery store or we would bake a pan of frozen Costco Buffalo wings, dip them in some store bought ranch dressing (yuck) and call it a meal. It’s been some time since we broke up – incidentally (and I’m not really quite sure why) it’s also been some time since I’ve had wings.
I have been wanting to make my own homemade buffalo wings for quite some time now. As I had eight full-sized chicken legs in the freezer, I decided to start big.
ingredients.
- Quick and Easy Fried Chicken (use legs and/or wings)
- Homemade Garlic Buffalo Wing Sauce
- Blue Cheese Dressing, for dipping
directions.
In a metal prep bowl, toss chicken legs with buffalo sauce until evenly coated. Serve with blue cheese dressing or ranch dressing, if you prefer. Some people also like to eat celery sticks with wings. I’m not one of them. I hate celery.
Sis had these as leftover the next day (warmed up, in the microwave), so you know they have to be good!
