I made this frosting once before when I was trying to use up copious amounts of Baker’s chocolate squares I had in the pantry. I was surprised at how easy and delicious this recipe was and thought it would pair well with Chocolate Rolo Cookies.
- 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
- 1 8-oz. tub of cool whip
- Heat chocolate in the microwave at 30 second intervals until melted and smooth.
- Stir in cool whip and heat in the microwave at 30 second intervals until you can incorporate the ingredients completely.
- Let stand 15 minutes before frosting.
I’ve used this frosting on cookies (and it was great), but I think it would be amazing on brownies and perhaps even on flourless chocolate cake.
