Food Snob

I made this frosting once before when I was trying to use up copious amounts of Baker’s chocolate squares I had in the pantry. I was surprised at how easy and delicious this recipe was and thought it would pair well with Chocolate Rolo Cookies.

  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1 8-oz tub of cool whip

  1. Heat chocolate in the microwave at 30 second intervals until melted and smooth.
  2. Stir in cool whip and heat in the microwave at 30 second intervals until you can incorporate the ingredients completely.
  3. Let stand 15 minutes before frosting.

I’ve used this frosting on cookies (and it was great), but I think it would be amazing on brownies and perhaps even on flourless chocolate cake.
