Le Food Snob

Use this sauce as a base for pizza or toss it with your favorite shaped pasta. If you don’t already have an easy marinara sauce recipe, this one will become your go-to recipe.

Makes enough for approximately one large pizza. Would probably make enough for about 8 oz. of pasta, depending on how much sauce you like with your pasta.

  • 1 14.5-oz can of whole peeled tomatoes
  • pinch of dried Oregano
  • pinch of dried Basil
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of garlic powder

  1. Empty contents of the can into a small sauce pan and crush the tomatoes with a fork.
  2. Stir in the herbs and seasonings.
  3. Boil over a medium heat until the liquid has reduced to about half.
