20131222-150315.jpgI’m not sure that you would want to bake this cookie dough (recipe found at cookiesandcups.com), but it works well when making no-bake treats. Such as fudge. Or ice cream. Or truffles. Or brownie bombs. You get the picture.


  • 1/2 c. butter, softened
  • 1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. granulated sugar
  • 2 T. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. mini semi-sweet chocolate chips


  1. In the bowl of a stand mixer, cream butter and sugars. Add milk and vanilla and beat on a low speed until combined. On the lowest speed, add flour and stir until combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
  2. Form the dough into marble sized balls. Use in your favorite recipe or freeze for later use.

20131222-150411.jpgLast but not least, if you’re a cookie dough lover, and you love to eat cookie dough straight out of the mixer, this is a safe way to do so. Me? I don’t mind the risk of salmonella poisoning. So I’ll keep this recipe to serve to others.
