
If you’ve ever eaten at Red Lobster then I’m sure you’ll appreciate these biscuits which are supposed to imitate the biscuits Red Lobster serves before your food arrives.
biscuit ingredients.
- 2 c. flour
- 1 T. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. onion powder
- ½ tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ⅔ c. milk
- ⅓ c. melted butter
garlic butter ingredients.
- 2 T. melted butter
- ¼ tsp. Oregano
- ½ tsp. garlic powder
- Pinch of salt
directions.
- Place the oven rack in the middle position and preheat to 475 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix garlic butter ingredients together in a small bowl and set aside.
- Whisk dry biscuit ingredients with a fork in a large bowl. Add milk, cheese and melted butter with dry ingredients. Stir with a fork just until the dough does not stick to the sides of the bowl.
- Drop the dough on the cookie sheet two inches apart.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly golden brown on top. Brush the melted butter mixture over tops of biscuits. Serve warm.
Makes 12 biscuits.
