Hmm. I realized today I’m not a huge fan of bourbon (neither in food nor in a snifter). If you’re not a fan of bourbon either, you may want to stay away from this recipe or cut the amount of bourbon in half.
- 1 c. butter
- 1 to 1 1/2 lb. powdered sugar
- 3 T. bourbon
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Beat butter until creamy. Add half of the powdered sugar and beat, followed by the half-and-half, bourbon and vanilla. Mix until blended. Add the remaining sugar and beat until thick and smooth. I didn’t give an amount of half-and-half because you will most likely need to adjust the amount needed to achieve your desired consistency.
